This is your captain speaking...

As you've probably figured out, I'm out on a field trip today... that being said, I'm still on campus, and I will be checking in from time to time.

The same rules apply, even if I am not in the room.

Now that we're past that, here's your assignment for today.

First, I want you to click on the following link and fill out a survey. This is YOUR chance to tell ME how you think you're doing, how I'm doing, how the class is going, and all that other good stuff.

All except the last question is required, so if you try to submit the survey without finishing the questions, it will hold you back. Here's the link... you'll need to put your name and period, I will be giving out points for the completion of the survey.

Secondly, you'll need to come back to this blog to check out the PowerPoint in order to know what's coming next.

Okay, now that you've completed the survey, here's the next item you need to check out. This is the PowerPoint that will show you what's coming next, and a few examples to get you on your way. You will be working in groups, but for today, you'll be looking at this alone.

Please be sure to put your headphones in. If you need headphones, the OB's are on my desk in the computer room. When you're done using them, roll them up and put them back on that desk.

Remember guys, if you get through the slides with time remaining, check out Good Morning America, The Today Show, and CBS This Morning for more examples of a typical newscast!
